If all else fails, you can try a simple Hard Reset on the notebook, although this is a bit of a leap of faith in this case since the problem is "just Skype". If you go and get a download of the latest program file and deliberately install it, the installation procedure may clean up any "mess". You can also try reinstalling Skype Skype may have updated itself recently and just put itself into a tangle due to the manner in which it updated. Your own video screen should just pop up - if it does not, make sure that it is set to "Automatically receive video and share screens with" > People in my contact list only The issue may be in the Skype Options - if you have not already done so, open Skype and check: ![]()
